My wife and I travel 30 mins just to visit this wonderful shop. The owner has a great eye for detail and always makes the effort to welcome customers. The shop is full of unique items.
Visited for the first time today with my daughter. We both love interior design and we we're very impressed with the quality and range of things to buy.
However, disappointedly the two ladies in the shop weren't very welcoming at all. One lady said a brief Hello while working behind the counter on a computer screen and the other lady upstairs was sweeping the floor and looked fedup. Such a shame as I was interested in buying a few nice pieces but decided not to due to this reason. Our experience would have been so much nicer had the two ladies engaged with us and asked if there was anything they could help us with. We just weren't made to feel welcome which I thought was very unusual for this kind of shop and not an experience I have encountered elsewhere.We won't be returning.

Lovely experience shopping online, I had a small issue with my order that was clearly the fault of a supplier and this was corrected so kindly and so quickly. I really recommend - very sad not to be able to shop here in person anymore I used to love popping in when I lived in MH. Thank you to Helene who assisted via email.

This shop is dangerous! It’s an absolute dream of really carefully curated household items and gifts. It’s beautifully laid out across two floors and well worth a visit
Basil Fawlty couldn’t be ruder than the obnoxious woman behind the counter. A warning to any potential customer - don’t touch anything- you’ll get told off. Simply look or guess the quality of an item - don’t dare inspect or pick anything up or the KGB will hunt you down.

Lovely shop, they have some fantastic quality products to choose from. I love textures and natural materials so this shop ticks all the boxes for me. The shop itself is based on two floors, lots of kitchen and homeware downstairs, with bath, body, cards etc upstairs. I don’t get to visit the amazingly curated shop often as it’s not pushchair friendly (but that’s down to the old buildings in Market Harborough) but I purchase from the website - they package everything beautifully. Their instagram is worth looking at to get a feel for the products they sell. You could spend quite a bit of money here!
I always receive a warm welcome when I enter Bagel & Griff. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, even when friends have gone in to buy me birthday gifts. It’s honestly my favourite homewares shop in my area, such beautiful products and it’s all beautifully displayed in the store. Always a joy to visit
Well what a wonderful shop.It is full of beautiful objects both decorative and functional many of which I’ve not seen elsewhere.
The owner truly has an eye for design and this shows not only in the stock but also in how the products are presented.
A visit is a must if you’re in the area and interior design is your thing.
Also a lovely range of books and unusual gifts can be found upstairs together with some rather nice art work.
This shop is filled with beautiful and carefully curated items. The books and cards are always lovely too

Bagel & Griff is our favourite independent shop in Market Harborough (and beyond). Helene and the team are extremely attentive and relational and make us feel like Royalty, whether we are buying a beautifully framed hand-printed picture for a wedding gift or monthly bar of lemon soap by mail order in Lockdown! Over the years, as our family has grown, we have been repeatedly touched by random acts of kindness - the most memorable being a gift of baby shoes for our youngest, Hugo. As well as stocking beautiful, environmentally friendly products, this shop genuinely works to promote the skills and wellbeing of crafts people from the developing world and the culture of honour and attention to detail takes us back again and again. Bought a couple of things as a gift. Prompt delivery and items well packaged. Friendly and professional customer service.
I used Bagel&Griff for the fist time online and was impressed with the speedy service. My purchase contained fragile products but they arrived safely and well packaged. I will definitely use them again, I love the quality of the products and the unusual items they sell.
It was good to realise that we could still purchase items from Bagel & Griff online and collect them from the shop.
On this occasion we bought a selection of bars of soap, one of which I had been trying to find for some time without success. The product, wrapping and presentation was outstanding and the process of purchasing couldn't have been easier.
Naturally we haven't had time to try all the different items but there was a wide range of scents and prices from which to choose and we're looking forward to trying them out.
We'll be back to Bagel & Griff for more products soon! Can't recommend them highly enough.

I always buy my taper candles (among many other things) from Bagel & Griff as they are good quality and priced well. A lovely neutral colour palette in these candles is available. In general, this is a beautifully curated shop, lovely people, and one of the main reasons I visit Market Harborough. Be warned though, you will not be able to go there without buying something!!
